Callum, or Cal as he is affectionately known joins the Cityzens as a product of our Club Partner, the John Madejski Academy where he has scored 44 goals in 66 games, whilst playing predominantly as a left back.
Some of our fan base will probably recognise Callum from our last two FA Youth Cup Campaigns in which he featured.
Cal initially started training with the First Team last season and will now make his debut in men’s football.

We spoke to our First Team Assistant Manager, Michael Butcher who is also Director of Football at the John Madejski Academy regarding our new signing, here’s what he told us:
“Cal has the ability and potential to play a lot higher. He has a vicious left foot and can play anywhere on the left-hand side of the pitch. This season is his first step into men’s football and we are excited to see how he adapts and progresses
First Team Manager, Simon Johnson had this to say following Cal putting Pen to Paper:
“Cal has progressed through the JMA partnership. He has all the attributes to be a top player in men’s football. He has massively impressed in pre-season so far as well. He has great ability and a dangerous left foot.”
