Powered by Blue Light Card technology, Blue Light Tickets is a free service that has been created as a way to give back to the blue light community. Through working with venues, sports teams, attractions, festivals, and concerts, they aim to offer NHS, emergency service employees and the wider blue light community free tickets as a way of saying “Thank you”.

From the national response to the coronavirus to major incidents locally we’ve not only seen how hard our emergency services and NHS personnel work but the sacrifices they often must make too and for that reason we’re delighted to partner with Blue Light Card.

Ryan Sheehan, Our Marketing, Communications & Engagement Manager, Ryan Sheehan had this to say:

“I’m so proud of the fact that Reading City Football Club has always been a club that has recognised the commitment of those working in frontline services. Following the Coronavirus Pandemic, as a club we quickly decided that we would recognise the heroic efforts of NHS staff by offering them and their families free entry to all games during the 2020/21 Season and 21/22 Season.

As a club that is proud to sit at the heart of the community, working with Blue Light Card was a no brainer for us as we can now reach countless others who play their part in keeping us safe, healthy and supported when we need it most and equally thank them for all that they do.

On behalf of everyone at Reading City Football Club we look forward to welcoming Blue Light Card members to the Rivermoor this season and we hope they enjoy their visit.”
