Archie is an experienced centre-back who has most recently played at Thatcham Town as part of their Under 18s as well as featuring for their First Team who compete at Step 4.

Archie has also previously played for YMCA Reading, Procision, Purley Jubilee & Maidenhead U18s.

After putting pen-to-paper we spoke to our new signing and when we asked him why he signed for the Cityzens his answer was ‘I wanted a new challenge in football and Reading City seemed like the best place for me to keep enjoying my football and progress as a player. Everyone at the club has been very welcoming and supportive also.”

We are very proud to act as a stepping-stone for players such as Archie who have the potential to progress, and have a proven track record of pushing players on to higher levels in the non-league pyramid and are excited to have secured the services of such a talented player. ‘Titch’ is an aptly nicknamed 6ft3 centre half with a lot of potential. He’s also got experience having had a few games at step 4 with Thatcham Town last season. Another young player who we look forward to seeing flourish like many have done before him.
