“We face a new side and somewhat unknown tonight as we travel away from The Rivermoor to face Easington Sports.
Away nights playing in this competition have been pretty special over the last few seasons; notably Thatcham last season and Gloucester City a couple of years ago.
The group came through a tough footballing and psychological test in the first game. Being a new group and finding ourselves 2-0 very early on it would have been easier to fold and fall at the first hurdle but the boys showed fantastic character, composure and togetherness to find a way to come back and win.
We will hoping to draw on that experience tonight and make it another special away day in this competition but it is not going to be easy. It never is in this competition
We will be without Harlen Lewis tonight who sustained a dislocated ankle last week but we do welcome a few fresh faces into the group and all are keen to impress and help to get us into the next round.
Up the citeh!”
