Sheldon Baptiste’s side will travel to SL7 to take on Maidenhead United in their next clash of the 2024/25 Thames Valley Premier League season.

They will be hoping to make a change to their current form and claim their first points in the league, following three losses in three for the team. The squad have shown a lot of spirit and energy, but they’ll be hoping to convert those performances into points this weekend.

ABOUT THE OPPOSITION

Maidenhead Town have been in action since 2004, with three teams who all feature in the Thames Valley Premier League, albeit in different divisions. The first team play in the Premier alongside our Under 23’s, whilst their Reserves and ‘A’ team compete in Division One and Division Three respectively.

The 2016/17 season saw Maidenhead Town first join the Thames Valley Premier League, entering from the East Berks League. Joining Division One, the side spent three seasons in this tier, before being named runners-up to the title following twelve wins in twenty. Subsequently, they were granted three points and promoted to the top division.

Following three Top 8 finishes since promotion, Maidenhead’s First Team will continue to feature in the top division of Step 7 this season.

HEAD-TO-HEAD

Our record and form against Maidenhead Town is quite strong, winning three and losing two in the league. However, when Maidenhead have taken all three points, there is a distance in the scoring. Specifically, a 7-1 loss away from home stands out. However, in our last head-to-head, we took part in a six goal thriller, claiming a clean sheet and all three points down at Bisham Abbey.

LAST FIVE MEETINGS:

6-0 Away Win – 24/02/24

2-0 Home Loss – 23/09/23

7-1 Away Loss – 07/01/23

2-1 Home Win – 20/08/22

1-0 Home Win – 25/04/22
