As part of a new chapter for our Under 23s which saw Sheldon Baptiste, take the helm earlier this summer we are delighted to announce that our young Cityzens will compete for the Charles Twelftree Trophy, the County Cup for Step 7 and 8 clubs in Berkshire and Buckinghamshire this season.

Our Under 23s last competed in the Senior Trophy in 2019/20 before the competition was ultimately voided due to the Covid-19 Pandemic, the pandemic also meant that the competition didn’t return until 2021/22 but our Under 23s did not feature on it’s return, therefore our appearance in this season’s competition will end a three year hiatus.

Our youngsters will enter the competition in the Second Round, having recieved a Bye in the first round and will travel to Oxfordshire to face Shrivenham in a tough test on Saturday 12th October.

Shrivenham compete in the Corsham Print Wiltshire Senior League and have done since 2023/24 after making the tough decision to resign from playing Step 5 Football in the Uhlsport Hellenic League Premier Division where they enjoyed much success.
