The end of the 2023/24 season was a historic one for everyone involved with Reading City Football Club as we secured our first senior trophy since rebranding in 2018 as Simon Johnson led his side to securing the Southern Combination Challenge Cup here at the Rivermoor against Horley Town.

Johnson’s men will begin their defence at home to Epsom & Ewell in a Second Round clash as ironically there’ll be no ties in the First Round this season.

We can now confirm that this cup clash will take place on Tuesday 28th January, with a 19:45 Kick Off.
