As the Season hot’s up, Simon Johnson has bolstered his options with the arrival of Harvey Collins who joins from near-neighbours Tadley Calleva. Our thanks go to everyone at Tadley Calleva for their assistance in getting the transfer concluded so quickly.
Harvey is a young, talented defensive midfielder who has impressed at Tadley Calleva making regular appearances whilst gaining vital experience playing at Step 5. Prior to playing for The Romans, Harvey spent time with our friends at Basingstoke Town, having been a product of their increasingly successful Academy before signing for their first team.
Following Harvey putting pen-to-paper we asked him why he decided to swap Barlow’s Park for the Rivermoor and here’s what he had to say:
“To enjoy my football and keep learning from good coaches”.
We also caught up with First Team Manager, Simon Johnson who had this to say on our latest arrival:
“Harvey joins us from Tadley. He is a robust midfielder who will bolster our options. Harvey was someone we actually tried to sign in the summer so it’s great to finally having him with us after his successful spell at Tadley. We look forward to seeing what he will add to the squad. Welcome Harvey.”
