Following the recent departure of Ewan Lynch, Simon Johnson has acted quickly to bolster our attacking threat with the arrival of Sacario Waugh. A young, talented Forward who hails from North London and has an impressive CV with spells at his beloved Tottenham Hotspur as well as Yeovil Town.

Rio told us that he has signed for the Cityzens to reignite his career into football.

As a club we have a proven record of pushing players on to higher levels in the non-league pyramid & are very proud to act as a stepping-stone for players who have the potential to progress.  As a result, we are pleased to be in a position to attract players with the calibre such as Sacario’s and we can’t wait to see how he gets on.

Here’s what First Team Manager, Simon Johnson had to say about his latest acquisition:

“Rio is a player that we have come across through one of my old friends Carl Spiller. He got in touch and mentioned he had a played who has fallen out of love with the game since a spell as a scholar at Yeovil a few years ago.

Rio definitely needs some sharpening up and to get his fitness up, but there is certainly a player in there with a lot of ability. We look forward to see what he can produce. Welcome Rio.”
