Tonight’s RGClásico was a chance for our youngsters to go 7 games unbeaten as they continue in their hunt to reach the summit of the Allied Counties Youth Football League Central Division table.

Gaffer Johno previously said that they should treat every game like a cup final and the lads have clearly brought into that mentality as they’ve produced some impressive results so far this season, tonight was no different.

As we approached the half-hour mark City took an early lead thanks to Finley Meikle.

Just ten minutes later with thirty six minutes on the clock, Sam Waller scored an absolute worldie of an overhead kick to make it 0-2.

The referee brought the first half to an end and City would go in at the break leading by two goals to nil.

On the hour mark, Archie Friday was introduced in place of Joe Corker as City made their first substitution.

Just passed the hour, City once again introduced another fresh pair of legs as Harlen Lewis replaced Reiss Baker in a straight swap up top.

With twenty minutes of regular time to play, City made a double substitution as Keigan Allen and Charlie Mills replaced Adam Goodwin and Louis Eade.
