Reading City Football Club is delighted to confirm the return of Ben Holder who returns to RG30 as Simon Johnson bolsters his options for the remainder of the 2024/25 campaign.

Ben is a talented and experienced Midfielder who featured in Blue & White during the 2021/22 Campaign and rejoins having most recently played at Step 4 with Middlesex based outfit Ashford Town but has also had spells at North Leigh, Wantage Town.

His experience playing at Step 4 will really help us push on as the season hots up.

We spoke to First Team Manager, Simon Johnson following Ben putting pen-to-paper and here’s what he had to say on his return:

“Great to have Ben back with us for the remainder of the season after spending the last couple of seasons at Step 4 with Ashford Town. A character off and on the pitch, he will bring a lot to the group for the run in, and is exactly what we need.  Welcome Ben”.
