Situated a stones throw away from the Oxford Road we are lucky to be served by the sky blue 16, purple 17 and the azure 43 which all call at Norcot Junction, making the Rivermoor Stadium a well-connected venue.

As a club we have committed to protecting the planet and are therefore pleased to promote the benefits of travelling by bus, so that the planet and our great community club can be enjoyed by future generations.

Travelling by bus to the Rivermoor is much more sustainable than coming by car, especially here in Reading as we are lucky to have one of the youngest and most environmental friendly fleets in the UK, making it the quitter, cleaner and greener way to travel.

So, next time you think about coming down to the football! Why not leave the car at home and have a beer? After all it’s a love story like no other.

With great value on group tickets up to 4 people can travel together for just £5.50, allowing you to make the most of your day or night out with us and let our friends at Reading Buses worry about the driving.

Knowing when to get off has also become much easier this week as Reading Buses have kindly added us to their audible onboard announcements, So sit back, relax and let Reading Buses whizz you to West Reading whilst listening out for “Next Stop Norcot Junction, use this stop for Reading City Football Club.”

Club Chairman, Martin Law had this to say:

“The Rivermoor Stadium is the proud hub of Reading’s non-league football community hosting 60 matches a season ranging from Reading City, our Sister Club Tilehurst Panthers, Woodley United and various community and charity matches, despite this we are somewhat hidden away behind the A329 Oxford Road and the Railway Lines and over the past few seasons have been working hard on boosting our audience.

If you’ve driven up and down the Oxford Road in the past couple of years you’ve probably seen our signage directing you towards the club and this is a continuation of that project as we look to connect to as many people as we can. #

A big thank you to everyone at Reading Buses for their continued support, it’s appreciated by everyone here at Reading City Football Club.”
