We’d like to thank Chris and the team, at Howard Electrical Services, for their generosity and the continued support they give us.

This season saw more evening games than ever before, at Reading City Football Club, with our Under 18s competing in the Allied Counties, a flood-lit league for the first time.

Thanks to Chris’ generous donation, the club can improve the matchday experience for players’ and spectators alike, when under the lights, as they provide brighter lighting.

As we begin to change from the traditional metal halide (‘halogen’) floodlights to LED floodlighting, not only will the club save money allowing us to use vital funds elsewhere, we’ll also be able to meet our commitment to protect the planet, for future generations, as they are far more energy efficient helping to reduce our electric bill and C02 emissions at the same time.
