Saturday saw our Under 11s United head to the West Midlands to participate in the Junior Premier League’s National Tournament.

As a result of winning the South East Premiership with four wins, from four. Our youngsters earned a spot in this year’s JPL National Champions Tournament, an invitational only event which would see us compete alongside the top teams in England, with The Junior Premier League is the only grassroots league in the UK where a team can be crowned National Champions.

Our Under 11s competed against their counterparts who had won the other regional leagues from across the North, South, East, West of the nation along with the Capital.

Unfortunately our youngsters didn’t take home the coveted title of ‘National Champions’ but they did finish as the overall 5th best team in the country, which is a fantastic achievement.

Club Chairman, Martin Law had this to say: “Congratulations to Jason, Ryan & our Under 11s United on a terrific season. To win the Regional League is a fantastic achievement and although it will hurt to have not won the National Champions title, I am immensely proud of their achievements, they did a sterling job representing the club and we’re now recognised not as just one of the best regionally, but nationally too. They are a credit to the club, their families and themselves.”
