We are proud of our player pathway here at Reading City Football Club. However our Academy wouldn’t be a success, if it weren’t for the dedication of our managers, players and especially our parents who give up their time to travel not to only games, but tournaments too.

Each Summer, during the off-season our youngsters participate in tournaments and this summer has been no different. This weekend has seen many of youngsters make the short journey over to West Berkshire to participate in Burghfield FC’s Annual Tournament.

In their first tournament since joining the City Academy ahead of the 2025/26 season. Our new Under 16s were tournament runners up.

A great start to their time in Blue & White. Congratulations to Gavin, Clive and the lads.
