Reading City Football Club is delighted to announce the return of experienced winger, Mckoy Palmer who initially signed for the Cityzens ahead of the 2019/20 Campaign and has made various appearances in recent campaigns to help cover injuries, absences and rested players.
Although he’s never really left us, we’re delighted to officially welcome him back to RG30.
Mckoy Palmer had a terrific debut season in the Uhlsport Hellenic League Premier Division, despite spending a lot of time in the treatment room he was named our top goalscorer for 2019/20 having scored 10 goals in all competitions.
After such a terrific season there was no doubt that Mckoy had gathered a lot of interest from clubs far and wide and the 2020/21 Campaign saw him on dual-registration with Basingstoke Town.
Mckoy has also enjoyed success with our friends at FC BAPCO on Sundays, where he’s helped the side win league titles, league cups and county cups.
