Stefan’s arrival in RG30 this season marked the biggest signing in the club’s history, The highly regarded centre-forward joined the Cityzens with extensive experience having plied his trade at the very top of the non-league pyramid.

With experience of playing at the very top of the non-league pyramid he brings composure, determination and tactical understanding that will be vital both on and off the pitch.

With these attributes Stefan has also quickly become a highly respected figure by all at the club.

As Team Captain Stefan will not only lead the team during matches but also serve as a role model for our younger players. His dedication, work ethic, and positive influence will help guide the next generation, ensuring a strong and united squad as we move
forward.

We spoke to Stefan following his appointment as Team Captain, here’s what he had to say:

“It’s an honour to be chosen to lead the group in what we hope to be a successful season. I’ll do my best to lead by example and look to help the boys on and off the pitch in any way I can”.

First Team Manager, Simon Johnson gave us his thoughts on appointing Stefan as Team Captain:

“We brought Stefan into the club because of his experience higher up the pyramid. I’m certain he will lead the group from the front both on and off the pitch. Being a local lad he understands what it means to wear the armband for the club. His experience, quality and leadership skills will make him a fantastic leader for this talented group.”
