Are you passionate about football and love writing? Reading City Football Club is looking for a Match Reporter to join our award-winning media team!
This voluntary role is a fantastic opportunity for anyone looking to gain experience in sports journalism, build their portfolio, or simply support their local club.
📝 Role Includes:
- Attend home and away matches throughout the season, as/when required this could be for our First Team, Reserves, Youth, Sunday or Under 18s Squads.
- Update social media during the game with LIVE coverage.
- Write engaging match reports for our website, social media channels, and digital matchday programme.
- Work closely with our media team to tell the story of the Cityzens every week.
⚽ What We’re Looking For:
- Strong writing skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Passion for football and a good understanding of the game.
- Reliable and committed to attending Weekend and Midweek Fixtures where required.
- Ability to work to tight deadlines.
