Our Weekday Training Sessions for our Youth Teams are delivered by professional and qualified coaches on 4G. Training takes place at the Wren School in West Reading one evening a week.

You’ll be supported by our experienced club officials

Match Day pitches will be booked and prepared for you.
This allows you to concentrate on the important things like team formation! Will it be 4-4-2 or 4-3-3? What we can tell you is that being a manager at Reading City Football Club is hassle free.
Applicants will ideally be Qualified to FA Level 1 Standard (now known as Introduction to Coaching Football), and hold valid Emergency First Aid & Safeguarding Children Qualifications. Alternatively we can help you achieve this.
You will also need a DBS Check, but again we can help with this application.
