Lamin is an experienced and talented attacking midfielder who previously played in Blue & White during the 2022/23 Season, he has most recently played for near-neighbours and promotion rivals Burnham FC

Lamin has also previously had spells with Highmoor Ibis and Reading Town along with Aldermaston, Ascot United, Badshot Lea,  Binfield, Bishop Cleeves,  Tadley Calleva, Thatcham Town as well as being part of the Southampton Academy.

Having played at Step 4 and Step 5 we are thrilled to welcome a player of Lamin’s calibre and experience back into the camp.

After signing we spoke to our latest arrival as to why he re-joined and he told us “For Dave’s (Dave Wyeth, Director of Football) crap jokes”. We are proud to have a great team culture here at Reading City Football Club so let the terrible jokes continue.

We spoke to First Team Simon Johnson after Lamin put pen to paper and here’s what he had to say about his latest signing:

“Lamin was with us at the end of the 22/23 season to help our promotion push. He then went to Burnham last season but has decided to return.

I’ve known Lamin for many years and he’s technically excellent and links the attacking play very well.

He’s a welcome addition to the squad and another great character….when he’s on time.

Welcome back Sanks.”
